District Elder David Horn was saved in 1975 at the young age of 16. Very quickly leadership skills were seen in him, and after his call to the ministry, the late Bishop Robert W. McMurray implemented a ministry for youth, called the "Hour of Power”. Minister Horn was placed over this ministry. The Anointing was on him and he was elevated, to be the first full time Youth Pastor at Greater Bethany Community Church.  He served in this capacity for several years. Bishop McMurray had a vision for a city called Ontario , which at the time was a new, but promising community. Pastor Horn’s reaction was, I never heard of Ontario .



Pastor Horn was obedient to the heavenly vision, and started a bible class in the home of a member of Greater Bethany Community Church. To say the least, they outgrew that living room. The class has become a 400 seat sanctuary made from an abandoned highway patrol building which stood vacant for many years, and now has become a two million dollar edifice. The church has all the blessings of a first class house for the Lord, and has a 50 child capacity for a school; Lena ’s Learning Preschool, where First Lady Lena Horn is the Director. Pastor Horn conducted a 2 day fill up the sanctuary Harvest Campaign in June 2007; over 20 souls were baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost.  Pastor Horn is a very sought after speaker, conducting his own workshops of "Harvest Time Celebrations". This evangelical move of God has brought countless souls into the Kingdom Of God . He has conducted these highly anticipated workshops all over the country, and internationally. The record shows where Pastor Horn goes, souls are saved, recovered, and delivered.

 
Pastor Horn has been married to the love of his life First Lady Lenapearl Horn for over 19 years; they have 4 sons, 10 grandchildren, and 3 daughters in laws. His theme for life is fulfilling the command of Our Lord, Preach the Gospel to Every Creature, Taking Cities for Jesus, Changing One Life at a Time. Pastor Horn received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree in June 2007. This was conferred upon him by The Elbon Solutions, College of Ministry , of Apple Valley , CA .  
 
Pastor Horn is the Senior Pastor of Life Changing Ministries where the theme is " One Church , One Voice, and One Sound”.
